Even though the mini band has been around for years, it seems that lately they are growing in popularity, and I can see why.

They are fantastic for easy transport if you are on vacation or if you want to head outdoors to a park for your workout. They have unreal resistance on both the eccentric phase of the exercise action AND the concentric phase. Basically that means the action can be made just as difficult in the lengthening and in the shortening of the muscle being activated! That is great news if you want to get a lot of bang for your buck in a short period of time!

There are many places to buy mini bands, though they are not all of the same caliber.  I had a subscriber buy hers from the dollar store and she said they were horrible. **Note to self – don’t buy yours from there!
